We trained an AI model (LoRA) to learn how Laerdal Life illustrations can be designed by AI. We have reached a level of maturity to demonstrate, that AI can infact create branded illustrations.

Close collaboration with the Life-Team made this possbile
We started the explore into AI illustrations in Feburary 2025.
The first goal was to train the AI in Life style.
The second goal was how to make this available to all Laerdal Employees.

This AI technology has potential to assist needs in generating Life-compliant illustrations.

1. AI-Generated Illustrations

All illustrations in this video were created with support from our trained AI LoRA models.

2. Quality Standards

Generated Life-AI illustrations carry a quality score of either 8 or 9 out of 10 to be considered a life-compliant illustration.

3. Managing expectations

At most there is no pixel-perfect illustration produced by AI.

4. Video Performance Note

Generated illustrations load more quickly in this video as they have been rendered in advance.

5. Quality Standards

This MVP front-end has not yet been approved for production use at the time of recording.
